Kitchen Manager

 Location: Nottingham City Centre   Salary: £30,000  Our leading hospitality client are looking for an experienced Kitchen Manager for their Restaurant in Nottingham City Centre 

Duties & Responsibilities:

·Coordinating the operation of the kitchen division and holding full responsibility for the administration of the kitchen

·Planning rotas for the kitchen

·Analysing and reviewing employee contracted hours, ensuring that these meet contractual agreements, and as required liaising with the HR department over variations to working hours

·Preparing and completing checks of all kitchen weekly pack requirements as necessary

·Completing full stock take (inc.cold and dry stores) on a weekly basis as per Company guidelines

·Interpreting stock take information including identifying quantities, investigation of losses and gains, and reporting overall figures to the associated Operations Manager

·Ordering stock and supplies on a daily basis in line with Company process (recalling delivery dates and order cut off times), ensuring that forecasts and trends are adhered to and accounted for

·Maintaining high standards of quality control, cleanliness, hygiene and safety across all shifts

·Communicating with the Head Chef in maintaining food costs, controlling and reporting wastage and portion control

·Demonstrating effective communication between all team members including management and kitchen
